Guidelines & rules

No purchase or payment of any kind necessary to enter. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.

  1. To enter via instagram, participants should log on to the iTunes app store and download the Instagram app, (the app is free of charge). Once participants have downloaded the Instagram app, and completed the sign-up process, they should search for ‘South Cali Sunnies’ in the search facility, and click ‘follow’ to follow South Cali Sunnies on Instagram. Participants should repost one of the competition photos to Instagram, and use the hash-tag #southcalisunniescomp in the comment/description section for their photo. Entry is then complete. Participants may only enter once.
  2. To enter via Facebook, they should search for ‘South Cali Sunnies’ in the search facility, and click ‘Like’ to like South Cali Sunnies on Facebook. Participants should then repost one of the competition photos to Facebook, and use the hash-tag #southcalisunniescomp in the comment/description section for their photo. Entry is then complete. Participants may enter multiple times by sharing the variety of competition photos we share.
  3. The competition opens on October 11th 2016 at 5:30pm (AEST).
  4. The competition closes on November 11th 2016 at 5:30pm (AEST).
  5. There will be 5 winners chosen at random from all successful entries received, with the hash-tag #southcalisunniescomp.
  6. The winners will each receive a prize of $100 voucher to our website. 
  7. The winners will be notified by South Cali Sunnies leaving a message on the comments section underneath their photo that they have entered the competition with. South Cali Sunnies will notify the winners within 24 hours of the competition closing. The winners will be asked to email info@southcali.com.au to claim their prize. 
  8. If a winner does not respond to notification that they have won, by emailing info@southcali.com.au within 72 hours of receiving the comment on their photo from South Cali Sunnies, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize. South Cali Sunnies shall not be liable for any delay or failure of any message communication.

  10. By entering the competition, you agree to us announcing your name publicly as a prize winner on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and all other South Cali Sunnies social media. You also agree to South Cali Sunnies commenting on your competition entry photo if you are winner (this will also be a visible to the public).
  11. Entrants must be over 18.
  12. By entering and/or accepting the prize, Entrants and winner agree to hold South Cali Sunnies and its promotional partners, directors, officers, and employees harmless for liability, damages, or claims for injury or loss to any person or property, relating to, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, participation in this Contest, the acceptance and/or subsequent use or misuse of any of the prize, or claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the Entrant ineligible. South Cali Sunnies, in its sole discretion, reserves the immediate and unrestricted right to disqualify any Entrant or prize winner if either commits or has committed any act or has been involved or becomes involved in any situation or occurrence which South Cali Sunnies deems likely to subject South Cali Sunnies, Entrant, or winner to ridicule, scandal, or contempt or which reflects unfavorably upon South Cali Sunnies in any way. If such information is discovered by South Cali Sunnies after a winner has received notice of his/her prize and before the prize is awarded, South Cali Sunnies may rescind the prize in its entirety. Decisions of South Cali Sunnies are final and binding in all matters related to this paragraph.
  13. South Cali Sunnies is not responsible for lost or late entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by South Cali Sunnies on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Contest is not capable of completion or running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, South Cali Sunnies reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest. South Cali Sunnies reserves the right to select the winner from eligible entries received as of the termination date. If there is a dispute as to the identity of the Entrant declared the winner, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned.
  14. South Cali Sunnies reserves the right to amend any time periods, and notification dates at any time should circumstances make this necessary, or to cancel this promotion before the advertised close date.
  15. South Cali Sunnies' decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. No cash alternative is available. The prize only includes what is expressly stated to be part of the prize and the prize is not transferable.
  16. By entering this competition, you acknowledge and accept that Instagram shall not be liable to you in any way for any matter in relation to this competition.
